Recently, Iris Mittenaere of France won the Miss Universe 2016 Title which is held in Manila, Philippines on 30 January, 2017. If we look to miss universe history, Miss Universe pageant is an international beauty pageant or contest that is run by the Miss Universe Organization every year since 1952. Miss Universe contest is different from the Miss World and Miss Earth pageants.
More than 190 Country participant took part in this reputed Miss Universe Contest and viewed by more than half a billion people annually.

United States of America holds the maximum number of Miss Universe Title i.e. 8 times. On the second position is Venezuela. It has 7 times won the Miss Universe Title. On the third position, Puerto Rico has won 5 titles. Philippines and Sweden are on fourth position with both 3 titles. India has 2 Miss Universe Titles since 1956.
