In this post, I am going to share another popular blogging platform i.e. WordPress. Yes, it is widely and most popular among bloggers spread over the world. It has many great features as compared to Blogspot blogging platform at blogger.com.
Well, both blogger and WordPress have good for beginners who want to learn to blog and don’t want to invest in blogging. The best thing is that you don’t have to learn coding and programming. Any person who knows the internet and computer can build a blog.
In this post, I am giving a tutorial on creating a free WordPress blog using wordpress.com website. It has free as well as paid plans. The free plan gives you subdomain like this bloggerstalent.wordpress.com and hosting for free for lifetime. So let’s start.

Step 1: Go to WordPress website and click on Start a blog button as shown below.

Step 2: On next page, choose Choose A Homepage Layout as shown below.

Choose “A list of my latest posts” if you want a blog like bloggerstalent.com.

If you are a photographer, then you should choose “a grid of my latest posts” option.

If a blog is about businesses, choose “a welcome page for my site” or “an online store” option.

Step 3: On next page choose Choose A Theme for your blog. Don’t worry, you can later change and modify themes.

Step 4: On the next page, choose Choose A Domain (Blog Address/Blog Name) for your blog. It will have something like this bloggerstalent.wordpress.com. Since you are using free plan, you will get a free subdomain like this.

Step 5: On next page, you need to click on the Select Free button as shown below.

Step 6: Finally, you have to create your account by submitting an email address, username and password.

Step 7: Now you verify your e-mail address and after that your blog is ready. You will see your blog dashboard as shown below. Your blog address will be like this bloggerstalent.wordpress.com. Share this URL with your friends. You can start posting by clicking on Add button in front of the Blog post in the left sidebar.

Congratulations! Your blog is ready to use. Now you can write awesome articles and posts on whatever topic you want to write. Just tell people about your blog address and they will see your blog. This is absolutely free for lifetime. But the free plan has many limitations. But for beginners, it is the best way to start. Once you learned to blog on WordPress then you can move to self-hosted hosting and buy a domain.
