Hide personal Wattsapp Images and Videos from Phone Gallery

Many a times you receive personal message that you don’t want
anybody to see. You want these messages to hide from those people. These
messages can be photos or videos. For this most people either delete those
photos or videos after watching or they keep their phone lock. But android
users can hide their personal photos and videos from another people without
deleting or locking their phone. Android users can hide their personal messages
like photos, videos from gallery. For this you have to install ES File Explorer
app.

Go to Google play store and search ES File Explorer. Click here to install ES File Explorer app.

This app allows the user to hide their WhatsApp personal
photos and videos from phone gallery. 

Step 1: Open the ES File Explorer app in your phone.

Step 2: You will see an ‘SD Card’ option. Click on this.

Step 3: Now Click on ‘WhatsApp folder’. After this Click on ‘media folder’. In media folder you will see two folder “WhatsApp Images” and “WhatsApp Videos“.

ES File Explorer give two ways to hide your videos and images.

You can change “WhatsApp Images” folder name to “.WhatsApp Images” and “WhatsApp Videos” folder name to “.WhatsApp Videos“.

This will hide all WhatsApp photos and videos from Phone Galley.

Step-1: In this method Click on “WhatsApp Images” folder. You will see ‘+’ sign icon. Click on this sign.

Step-2: Now Click on File option. After this type ‘.nomedia‘ and press OK. 

Step-3: Similarly you can do for  “WhatsApp Videos” folder. Click on ‘+’ sign icon. Click on File option. After this type ‘.nomedia‘ and press OK. 

This will erase all your WhattsApp photos and videos from phone gallery.

Note: If you even see the images and videos in phone gallery then Go to ‘Phone Settings’. Then click on ‘App’ and then open ‘Gallery App’. Here Click on ‘Clear Cache’.

Now nobody can see your Personal messages.
